Cardano’s Sustainability Framework
We focus on advancing a sustainable economy. Keeping our way of life and production within planetary boundaries is our ultimate goal. We focus on combating climate change, biodiversity loss, water waste, and waste management. For selecting companies, we employ our own Sustainability Framework. This enables us to categorize companies based on the extent to which they are already contributing to the transition.
The Sustainability Framework
- We categorize companies within our investment universe into one of the seven categories. Their placement depends on their current and potential contribution to the transition to a sustainable society.
- Companies in the top three categories are eligible for selection. Whether they are actually selected depends, among other factors, on the sustainability objectives of the investment strategy.
- Companies in one of the bottom four categories are automatically excluded from any investment strategy.
